Support for iPhone users


iVideotweet available on iPhone 3GS

It is now possible to use iVideotweet from an iPhone 3GS. It is a very simple and convenient way to tweet videos taken Live, in real time ! iVideotweet will not work an earlier releases of iPhone because of they do not support video recording. Please follow the instructions below to get iVideotweet quickly up and running on your iPhone 3GS.

First step : Create your iVideotweet account

First of all, you have to create your iVideotweet account. To do so, go to http://www.ivideotweet.com/new_user, and follow the instructions. During the registration process you will be asked for your email and your mobile phone number. Your email address will be used by iVideotweet as your identifier. Enter your mobile phone number in international format. To help you doing so, when selecting your country, your country code will be automatically proposed. After the first step of the registration process, you will receive your 6 digits password in an SMS message. Keep this password in a safe place, enter it in the box named 'Password received by SMS', and go to the next step. You will be asked to enter your twitter account name and password. Check your email box for the email confirmation message from iVideotweet. Click on the link provided in the email confirmation message to have your email address validated. Your iVideotweet registration is now complete.

Second step : Download the iVideotweet iPhone application from the App Store

Go to the App Store, and search for the 'iVideotweet' application. The iVideotweet application is free of charge. Click on 'install' to have it downloaded and installed on your iPhone. Remember : this application will only work on iPhone 3GS. Earlier versions of the iPhone do not support video recording.

Third step : Configure the iVideotweet application on your iPhone

Click on the iVideotweet icon on your iPhone to launch the iVideotweet application. If it is the first time that you use it, the settings page will be directly presented to you. If not, click on the i button on the top right of the screen to flip to the settings page. In this page, enter your email address that you entered during the iVideotweet registration process as well as your 6 digits password received by SMS. When done, click on the 'Done' button on the top left. The iVideotweet application will check that your account settings are correct, flip back to the main page, and the 'Start' button will become available.



Last step : Use iVideotweet !

When you are done with the iVideotweet application configuration of your iPhone, simply click on the 'Start' button :

The iPhone video recorder will show up. Click on the record button (the one with the red dot in the bottom) to start recording your video, and click on the same button again when you want to stop recording :


When you are done recording, click on the 'Use' blue button on the bottom right of the screen :


The iVideotweet application will upload your video sequence, and tweet a link to this video on your twitter account :


You can now start a new videotweet if you wish.
